MIND | BODY | HEART | SOUL – be fully human at work

At this time of the year, most organizations are winding down for the holidays and preparing for a well-deserved break. Gathering staff, throwing holiday parties and year-end functions. Reflecting on the wins of the past year, thanking you for showing up at your workstation every day, for making your contribution and recognizing you for making possible, those impossible targets. Celebrating the successes, you made happen. Getting you hyped up on exciting plans for the New Year, excited that you are going be a part of those plans.

BIG HOORAY! What about you? Are you also reflecting and celebrating your personal successes? Making holistic plans for your success?

Being successful in your career is one aspect of your life. What about the BODY | MIND | HEART | SOUL aspects of your life that need attention? Aspects that are often neglected. But actually, being successful as a whole person is satisfying and epitomizes success.

Here’s the reality:

You need a BODY, to physically show up at your desk. What are you doing to improve and maintain your physical health?

You need your MIND to grow in your career, and to expand your thinking.  What new learning or lifestyle goals have you set? How are you expanding your creativity, what are your travel and relaxation activities to recoup from a hectic schedule?

What about the HEART and those meaningful relationships that need a devotion of time and energy, an investment that pays off in meaningful dividends?

And finally, your SOUL – how do you build a set of goals that lead to peace and is purpose-aligned, leading to a life that is SOUL-satisfying.

You need to be fully human and focus on the holist YOU.  Know how to use your personal resources to show up as the best version of yourself. Be deliberate about how you invest your resources (time, energy, finances etc) to achieve success.
